I just completed my first semester and couldn’t be any happier on my decision to become an Aztec. I am majoring in information systems and it is my hope specialize in network security for a local defense contractor. In 2014 I returned to school after a 30-year absence; I always regretted not finishing my degree and I am so glad that I am now rectifying that. Another regret was not traveling abroad, and I am so fortunate that I get to rectify that as well. Studying in Portugal, where my family originally hails from, is the opportunity of a lifetime. I look forward to sharing my adventure with all the SDSU community.
