During this winter break, I am back in my home country ā Indonesia. So, I spent the new year with my family and friends.
I went to church on New Year’s Eve and to a friend’s house and lit sparklers on New Year’s day. The following day, my family went to our grandparents’ house because we always go there for the big holidays such as New Year’s, birthdays, etc. Even though I missed the big fireworks in the city, I still had so much fun.
Jakarta is a big city like New York, so the streets were full of people on New Year’s Eve. People tended to ride motorbikes due to heavy traffic. The most fun part was all the people selling fireworks and trumpets along the big road. So, I got some fireworks and a trumpet. It was memorable!
Check out my video and you will experience the New Year’s vibe in Indonesia! Hope you enjoy it.
